Our scene opens up inside an empty area at the XWF Performance Center. We cut right away to our commentary team of Michael Cole, JBL, and Jerry “The King” Lawler as they welcome us to the show.
Michael Cole: Welcome everyone to XWF and what a show we have for you tonight. The debut of yet another superstar as our list of talent continues to grow. Also a huge tag team match in the main event.
JBL: That’s right Michael, its the battle of the power couples. Ashley and Slaine against Enforcer and Justice.
Jerry Lawler: I don’t know about you guys but I have a feeling Enforcer and Justice Cross are going to suprise some people tonight.
Michael Cole: The XWF has seen a ton of new talent come into the company and that makes the Road to Independance that much more exicting. But folks right now we want to take you down to the ring for our first match of the night…
Michael Buffer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. On his way to the ring first, he is a member of The Union….. Mike Dimter!
“Gasoline” By Meek Mill blasts through the arena as “The Bad Ass” Mike Dimter is seen walking through the crowd along with Destiny as she holds his hand. The two walk over to the bottom of the stands and Mike jumps over the rail guard. He helps Destiny over and then walks up the steel steps and goes to his corner as he waits for the match to begin.
Michael Buffer: And his opponent, he hails from Reno Nevada and is the #1 Contender for the United States Championship… Kyle Mehr!

He has a black Knee Brace on his right knee. Kyle walks to the ring smirking as the crowd continues to cheer him, Kyle then rolls into the ring. Kyle then raises it into the air as the crowd’s cheers intensify, Kyle then heads to his corner and does some stretching.
Mike Dimter Vs Kyle Mehr
The bell sounds and our first match is underway. The two tie up and chain wrestle a bit as this match gets going. Kyle Mehr takes Mike Dimter over with a nice arm drag and Dimter is quick to respond. Both men try for dropkicks and both miss before getting back to their feet. They circle around the ring again and Dimter delivers a slap right to the face of Kyle. Kyle responds right back with a hard slap of his own that knocks Dimter off his feet. Mike looks embarassed and angry as he complains to the referee. Mehr has had enough of the games and he goes right after Mike Dimter and pushes him into the turnbuckle. Michael Cole: Great back and forth action and youv’e got to be impressed by both this men and how well they work inside the ring.
JBL: I don’t think many people expected Kyle Mehr or Mike Dimter to steal the show, but thats what they have the chance to do tonight.
Kyle Mehr follows and slams Dimter face first into the ring steps before bringing things back into the ring. Mehr slams Dimter’s head repeatedly down against the mat before Kyle Mehr brings things into the corner and nails Mike Dimter with his boot. Jerry Lawler: Dimter is a veteran in this business and shouldn’t be taken lightly. It’s one of the reasons why The Union allowed him to join. They know Mike Dimter has no problems fighting in this ring.
Mike Dimter brings things back into the ring and he heads to the top, coming off with a double stomp to Mehr. Dimter blasts Kyle with a kick to the side of the head, but Kyle Mehr pops right up with a leg lariat before slamming Dimter down to the mat. Kyle wants to fly now as he goes to the top rope. He leaps off with the Kyle Hangover! and covers him…

Michael Cole: We’ve heard the talk from Kyle. He wants to prove his loss at Lockdown was a fluke and a lucky win for Daniel. In just a few more weeks he’ll have the chance to prove himself right.
Jerry Lawler: What a match that’s going to be.
Michael Cole: But folks we talked earlier about the new talent of the XWF and its a theme we’ll be talking about tonight and throughout the next few weeks. But right now one of those debuts is schedule to take place and it’ll be no easy task. Jason Thunder makes his debut against a former World Champion Max Farrell. Thunder grabs the ropes as the ref is telling Max to stop but Max pays no attention until the ref’s count is up to four on the DQ count. Max gets back to his feet and waits for Thunder to get up. Once Thunder is up, Max clotheslines him out of the ring. The crowd cheers as Max throws his arms up into the arm. Michael Cole: Wow, Max is coming out of this match like a man possessed.
Jerry Lawler: This can’t bode well for the New Guy.
Max picks up Thunder and rolls him back into the ring. Max hops up onto the apron and waits for Thunder to get up once again. Once Thunder is up, Max springboards into a crossbody. This time, Thunder is able to scout ahead and roll out of the way as Max hits the mat face first. Thunder gets back to his feet and as does Max. Jason Thunder looks frustrated that he didn’t get the win there. Anyways, he picks up Max and puts him on his hands and knees, grabbing his hair. Then, Thunder starts laying into him with kicks to the face! Max has no defense at this point but he uses his inner strength to get back to his feet and start to chop at the chest of Thunder, numerous times. Instead of going for a pin, Thunder gets a smile on his face and locks on the koji clutch! The crowd cheers as Thunder has the hold locked in the middle of the ring. Michael Buffer: Your Winner of the Match by Pinfall…..Jason Thunder!
Jason Thunders music hits but not for long as it stops and Without Me starts to blast and out walks co owner, Kevin Kronic clapping his hands and then takes a mic out of his back pocket and brings it around to his mouth.
Kevin Kronic: Great match! Great Match. Jason Thunder very impressive. I can see you making it very far in the XWF son. And Max..I guess better luck next time huh? Well I didn’t come out here to congradulate anyone, infact I came out here to spice things up a bit. Now we all know the situation that Michael and Nikki Everett are going through, trust me its my grandchild that is missing. Nikki and Michael are in no condition to compete which I understand and wouldn’t hold it against them but Nikki also knows the responsibilites of being a title holder. Now she is coming up on a rule that states you must defend the title and if you can’t then you either figure it out or drop that title. Nikki requested a pinch hitter if you know your baseball terminology. Nikki wants Angel to take her place, defending her title. She knows that Angel, if she loses, loses the title for Nikki. Angel has agreed to this and I’d like to say we have one hell of a match next inferno. It’s going to be Angel…defending the womans title…..against…SHEENA MONTGOMERY!!!!
The fans get out of their chairs screaming and chanting Sheena’s name.
Kevin Kronic: I knew you would like that. So, maybe come Independence we have a new champion? Or…Nikki retains through Angel and defends at Independence. One can never tell whats going to happen in the world of sports entertainment!!
Kevin’s music starts again as he leaves the stage and heads back towards his office.
Michael Cole: Angel? That’s a twist.
JBL: Angel is one diabolical woman. Sheena better make sure she is ready to face the Queen of Darkness.
Jerry Lawler: I dont know… I don’t like Sheenas odds.
Michael Cole: if anyone can send that woman to hell its Sheena!

She tries to drop her into the turnbuckle but Cassandra Marx wiggles free and Calaway goes head first into the top turnbuckle. Cassandra then grabs Calaway and hits her with a snap suplex. Cassandra grabs the leg of Calaway and begins to twist the ankle. An ankle lock that she calls the Ravens Cry! Calaway tries to get free but eventually has no choice but to tap out.
Michael Buffer: Your Winner of the Match by Submission……Cassandra Marx!
JBL: A tapout victory by Cassandra Marx and thats a statement win.
Michael Cole: She did exactly what she set out to do tonight. A big time victory that puts her on the right path. Now lets see if she can make it 2-0 in her next matchup.
Jerry Lawler: One win at a time Cole. Tonight she should celebrate and not get too far ahead of herself.
Michael Cole: Well folks we’ve seen a lot of great action tonigh from both new and old superstars. Our Main Event tonight features a little bit of both. A huge tag team match featuring four superstars who are ready to put it all in the ring and….

Ashley quickly gets back up but she’s met with a dropkick from Justice. Justice Cross doesn’t waste any time as she moves Ashley into the corner and nails her with repeated kicks. Michael Cole: What the hell is going on here?!

Jerry Lawler: It looks like The Union isn’t so tough when the numbers gave is even.
Michael Cole: The Union thought they found a weakness with Sheena not being around this week. However it appears The Union has made more enemies.
The four superstars remain in the ring alone, getting rid of The Union. But then quickly remember what just happened in that ring. Both teams begin arguing with Ashley yelling that they should have a rematch right now. Sadly that’s going to have to wait for another Inferno though as our show comes to a close….
