Our show opens up to a video package showing what happened last week. It was an assault by The Union. Attacking Daniel Slaine, Sheena Montgomery, and Ashley Blade. The video ends with a closeup of Angel as she gives an evil laugh into the camera. As the video ends we see a live crowd tonight at the XWF Performance Center. The camera pans around and then goes to our commentary team.
Michael Cole: Welcome everyone to XWF Inferno and what a show we have for you tonight. Two tag team matches as we continue the tournament to crown our new tag team champions. JBL lets start with you, what are your thoughts on tonight.
JBL: You know I’m looking at The Union who are feeling pretty confident after last show. Michael Everett and Scott Grayse have a great chance in my opinion of winning tonight and winning those tag titles.
Jerry Lawler: It wont be easy though because not only do they have a tough match tonight. They would then go on to face either Halstead/Enforcer or Ashley/Sheena.
Michael Cole: Tonight we’ll have the answers to that and so much more. But for right now lets head to the ring for our first match of the night…
Michael Buffer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. On his way to the ring first, he hails from Austin Texas…. The American Outlaw, Ricky Rhodes!
Pretty Woman Lover blasts across the arena as Rick Rhodes comes to his theme with alot of energy. He loves the feel of strutting to the ring with a beer in his hand and taunting a few of the fands. Rhodes climbs the steel steps and heads into the ring.
Michael Buffer: And his opponent, he is the reigning and defending XWF United States Champion… Daniel Slaine!
“99 Bottles” by Slaine plays next as Daniel Slaine comes out from the entrance way. The fans cheer loudly for one of their favorites as he walks down the ramp. Daniel has the look of intensity and focus in his eyes as he climbs into the ring and head toward his corner. Stretching and preparing for a fight.
Ricky Rhodes Vs Daniel Slaine
Daniel Slaine and Ricky Rhodes lock up and the two fight into the corner. Both men fight around the ring and down to the mat, but neither man gains an advantage. There’s a stalemate as they soak in the cheers for both men. Slaine locks on a headlock now but Rhodes pushes him off. Slaine catches himself in the ropes and the two stare at each other. Daniel Slaine hits a couple of elbows to the back of Ricky Rhodes’s head before sending him into the corner hard. Slaine heads up on the corner but Rhodes catches him on his shoulders. Slaine starts ti fight out of it and eventually turns it into a DDT and here’s a cover….
Michael Cole: Kickout at two and what do you guys think of Ricky Rhodes so far in XWF?
Jerry Lawler: He’s got potential and a lot of heart. But tonight is going to be about more than just heart. He’s facing one of the best.
Daniel Slaine hits Rhodes with elbows to the heart and goes for another quick cover….
Two count once again. Daniel Slaine waits for Rhodes to stand, and when he does he sends himself through the ropes, wiping out Rhodes to the floor. Daniel rolls outside and grabs Rhodes by the hair. He slams him into the barricade a couple of times before tossing him back into the ring. Slaine plays to the crowd on the outside but the distraction allows for Rhodes to a baseball slide that Slaine crashing into the barricade. The referee tells Ricky Rhodes to bring things into the ring and thats exactly what he does. Ricky Rhodes rolls outside the ring, grabs Slaine and slams his head into the steel ring post before rolling him back in. Ricky Rhodes picks up Slaine and goes for The Round Up! but Slaine fights out and kicks Rhodes in the head. Slaine locks in a camel clutch, and Rhodes looks to be in some pain. He tries fighting for the ropes but hes not getting very far. Intead Ricky struggles to his feet, with Slaine on his back. Slaine fights back with elbows to Rhodes’s neck, that takes him to the mat.
Michael Cole: A great wrestling match here tonight and as you can see folks it is a wrestling match. Ricky Rhodes had asked for a Bunkhouse Brawl match. I’m told from XWF Management that decision is being finalized for a future contest between these two. But not something that could be granted tonight.
JBL: I’ve never heard of a Bunkhouse brawl match but I’ve been involved in plenty of brawls Michael. I’d be fine with seeing a match like that!
Daniel Slaine hits Rhodes with a big elbow and a series of right hands. Ricky follows up with a couple of his own and then tries for a belly to back suplex. Slaine counters, then hits two clotheslines. Rhodes comes back with a clothesline of his own and goes for a cover….
Ricky Rhodes goes to pick up Slaine but Slaine delivers a kick to the head and then quickly sweeps the legs of Rhodes. Daniel Slaine heads out to the apron and springboards from the top rope, but Rhodes catches him and rolls through, standing up and shouldering Slaine. He tries for a firemans carry but Slaine lands on his feet. He spins around, kick to the midsection and Slaine follows up with a KTFO! Daniel with the cover now…
Michael Buffer: Your Winner of the Match by Pinfall…Daniel Slaine!
Michael Cole: Slaine picks up a hard fought victory tonight. We didn’t know how much shape Slaine would be in after the attack last week but it appears he’s good to go.
JBL: For now Michael…for now.
Michael Cole: After everything that went down last week it’ll be interesting to see what, if anything, the Union does tonight. However with that said, The Union does have a chance to do something in tag team action.
Jerry Lawler: Our tag team tournament has been talked about for the last few weeks. We are starting to come near the end with only a few teams remaining.
Michael Cole: The Union hopes to get to the finals but it wont be an easy task as Brandon Draven and Triple X stand in their way. Right now lets head back to the ring for the next match…
Michael Buffer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. On their way to the ring first. They are the team of Michael Everett and Scott Grayse….The Union!
The Union theme music blasts across the arena as the two of them make their way towards the stage. The fans boo loudly but it doesn’t seem to bother either of them. The two enter inside the ring and stretch.
Michael Buffer: And their opponents, making his way to the ring first….Brandon Draven!
Draven’s music blasts across the arena as the lights fade dim and the arena goes dark as Brandon Draven slowly appears from the shadows. He walks down the ramp with intensity in his eyes and locked onto his opponent. Draven steps into the ring as the lights come back on.
Michael Buffer: And his partner….
Suddenly the camera cuts to the backstage area. There is something in the air in the back area. Triple X is going down the hall heading to the ring when Angel steps out infront of him, smiling as she does.
Triple X: Listen, I don’t have time for you and your little mind games. I have a match to win so step out of the way.
Angel tilts her head looking at him.
Angel: No…I do believe you have other pressing things to handle. Besides….
You hear the bell ring and the fans are going crazy.
Angel with a flick of her wrist sends Triple X smashing into the wall with his back and he cant move.
Triple X; WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME YOU BITCH!!
Angel: I guess you figured it out huh? You were the special one this week…you got my full and utmost attention and I will certainly have yours.
Angel grabs him, tossing him around the backstage as people go running. He goes into some of the production boxes flipping over the top of them crashing onto the floor. Angel stalks him, getting right next to him and Triple X starts to fight back, hitting Angel with lefts and rights. Angel stumbles back a few steps and Triple X leaps, spearing Angel in the mid section. This takes her down for a moment when she gets up and the two stare down each other and the camera goes to the ring with the match already in progress when you hear screaming from the area.
Brandon Draven & Triple X Vs Michael Everett & Scott Grayse
We return to the action with Michael Everett beating down on Brandon Draven. An instant reply shows Draven distracted by the titantron and being attacked from behind by Everett. Michael works Draven into the corner and begins to nail him with kicks. Draven falls down and Everett continues to stomp away at him. Michael eventually picks him up and nails him with a solid suplex before tagging out to Scott Grayse. Grayse enters the ring and begins stalking Draven. He waits for him to get up before nailing him with a fameasser. Grayse goes for a cover….
Michael Cole: Kickout at two and this match has quickly turned into a handicapped match all thanks to Angel.
JBL: Maybe next time Triple X will take The Union a little more serious….
Scott Grayse continues to dominate Draven. Brandon Draven gets a few hope spots in, but ultimately, Grayse cut him off each time and remained in control of the offense. Scott Grayse punishes Draven a bit longer until after a punch exchange, Draven manages to start making his comeback. Draven is picking up the pace in this match now, taking it to Grayse. The fight spills out to the floor where Brandon Draven beats up on Grayse a bit more. Just when it seems like Draven was in control, however, Grayse cuts him off on the floor and whips him into the barricade. Grayse rolls Draven back into the ring and goes for another cover….
Kickout at two. Michael Everett has seen enough and tells Grayse to finish things off. Suddenly, we see Triple X crawling from behind the curtain onto the stage.
Michael Cole: Oh my god!!! What is going on?
Angel walks out from behind the curtain following Triple X with a grin on her face but fully focused on Triple X trying to make it to the ring. His face, blood dripping from his forehead. Angel gives him another kick to his back stopping him for a brief moment.
Michael Cole: Come on!! This is just like the Union to play by their rules.
JBL: Hey, Triple X never got to the ring so in all fairness she didnt interfere in the match.
Michael Cole: Oh is that Union Logic?
Triple X gets to the ring apron, grabbing onto the skirt, pulling himself up. Angel looks at Michael who is grinning and then nods to him. She grabs him and pulls him up…places a kiss on his cheek and then tosses him into the ring. Michael Everett calls for the tag and Grayse does so. It looks like Michael wants to win this match himself as he grabs the hand of Draven and forces him to tag in Triple X. Grayse then delivers a baseball slide to Draven onto the outside. Michael Everett then proceeds to grab the legs of Triple X and go for the TCO when suddenly Triple X rolls him up….

Triple X with an irish whip and when Michael comes around Triple X nails him with a situp power bomb. Scott Grayse tries to enter the ring but Triple X nails him with a superkick and Grayse falls off the apron.
Michael Cole: This would be the greatest comeback ever if Triple X can come back from this…
Triple X stalking Michael as the blood continues to pour. He grabs Everett for the Triple Driver! when suddenly Michael nails him with a low blow that the referee couln’t see. Michael Everett then grabs the legs of Triple X and locks him into the TCO. He applies th pressure and with nowhere to go eventually Triple X has no choice but to tap out.
Michael Buffer: Your Winners of the Match by Submission…. Michael Everett and Scott Grayse!
Jerry Lawler: I hope those two are proud of themselves. What a disgusting display by Angel.
JBL: Do you want to tell her that?!
Michael Cole: The Union will advance to Anarchy to face the winners of tonights Main Event but right now it appears Angel continues to lead this group in the right direction.
Jerry Lawler: Give some credit to Triple X. Despite everything Angel did to him, he still fought to the very end.
Michael Cole: Fans we are going to get some help out here for Triple X and take a short commercial break. More action when we return….

When the sentence “Let me light a fire in you tonight” plays she bends down a bit then straightens herself back out as pyro goes off. Justice continues to the ring with a smirk on her face before climbing onto the stairs. When she would get halfway onto the apron she turned her back to the ropes then did a backflip over them. Sheena Montgomery quickly enters the ring and nails a clothline to Enforcer. Vin Halsted gets into the ring and jumps on her back. He tries putting her in a sleeper but Sheena grabs him and flips him over her head. Sheena grabs him by the legs and teases putting him into a texax cloverleaf. She locks the legs when suddenly Enforcer attacks her from behind. Enforcer nails her with a couple of punches and then irish whips her into the ropes. Sheena comes back though and nails him with a spear. Both superstars are down and the only one moving right now is Halsted. He goes to grab Sheena when suddenly Ashley returns out of nowhere and the two begin brawling. They nail each other with big left and right punches and Ashley ends up clothlining Halsted onto the outside. Ashley then leaps off the ropes with a suicide dive and this match has gotten crazy in a hurry. Back inside the ring it appears Enforcer will be the man to take charge as he picks up Sheena Montgomery and nails him with the Death Penalty! Sheena is down and out but Enforcer isn’t finished yet as he calls for something else. Enforcer this time locks in the Omerta! A submission move that has Sheena in serious trouble. The referee asks if she wants to tap but Sheena refuses. Enforcer continues the hold and Sheena is starting to fall asleep. The referee raises her hand once in the air and it drops. He raises it a second time and again it drops to the mat. The referee raises it a third time…
Michael Cole: This is going to be it, Enforcer is going to win this match.
Suddenly Ashley comes in at the last second and breaks up the submission. Vin Halsted back pn the apron and he gets the tag from Enforcer. He begins trading punches with Ashley who isn’t even legal in this match. Enforcer joins in on attacking Ashley and eventually tosses her outside the ring as Enforcer follows after her. Vin Halsted then goes over to Sheena who was still out from the Death Penalty and picks her up. Sheena with an uppercut out of nowhere though and then follows up with the Last Call! Sheena with the cover…
Michael Buffer: Your Winners of the Match by Pinfall…. Ashley Blade and Sheena Montgomery!
Michael Cole: There you have it folks, our main event at Anarchy has just been determined. And it appears Ashley and Sheena will once again be a thorn in the side of The Union. As those two teams battle for our tag team championships.
Jerry Lawler: A tough loss by Enforcer and Vin Halsted and Enforcer doesn’t look too happy.
Michael Cole: There have been rumors about him getting a World Title shot. You have to wonder if XWF Managment will give us the match that we all want to see and a chance for Enforcer to redeem tonights loss.
JBL: I’d love nothing more than to see Ashley loser her World title before Anarchy.
Michael Cole: We have just one more Inferno before the biggest show of the year. We look forward to seeing you next time on Inferno. Goodnight everyone!
